The SASMI trust fund was originally designed to assist sheet metal workers during periods of unemployment or underemployment — and that's still the case — but over the years, it has expanded to include even more benefits for members.

For 2023, we are excited to add our newest workplace safety benefit — occupational safety footwear. And, in solidarity with our fellow union brothers and sisters, we are supporting American made, union made products.
